Witty Youngman has been performing since 2012. They grew up on and outside the Gila River Indian Reservation (Phoenix, Arizona). Their grandparents represent multiple nations of the Great Plains, the desert, and Alaska.

Witty (she/they) is a two-spirit musician based in Anchorage, Alaska. They use their voice to speak on indigenous issues, participating in events and celebrating indigeneity around Alaska throughout the year. They use music to approach topics with a guitar, beautiful vocals, and thoughtful, poetic lyrics.

Influenced by old soul and blues, Witty’s vocals are deep yet ethereal. You have to experience it to believe it.

Witty has been learning guitar since she was 14. Fingerpicking is their style, but has been studying jazz, blues, reggae, and even punk.

Witty also works as an artist, working in watercolor and calligraphy. Their Inkwork is personal and unique and is gifted to many friends and family for birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries. They are also diving into digital art in 2025!
