Arctic Entries: Featured Artist
In the spirit of This American Life, The Moth, and other storytelling events, Arctic Entries brings Alaskans to the stage to share their personal stories: funny, sad and sweet. At every performance, seven people each tell a seven-minute long true story about themselves relating to the show’s theme. Performances by local musicians punctuate the show. Net proceeds from ticket sales go to a non-profit partner selected at the beginning of each season.

Athabascan Fiddler's Association - Music Festival
‘Come Together” is the theme of the 43rd annual Athabascan Fiddlers Association Music Festival Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall in Fairbanks.
Witty will play Thursday night at 9, live on air KRFF at 12 pm on Friday, on stage Friday night at 9:30, and then Saturday night at 9 again.
Forget-Her-Not - EP Release Party!
Forget-Her-Not is a six-song EP recorded in Spenard, Anchorage, Alaska at Frostline Studios. Produced by Witty Youngman and Derek Haukaas, the EP is a culmination of talented folks from around Alaska putting together a group of blues, jazz, rock, and soulful songs written by Witty.

Indigenous People's Day Celebration!
Come visit the Nome Recreation Center for a day of fun! Witty performs, there will be a regalia fashion show, Comedian Keith Nahanee performs, and at 4 PM there will be a drawing for Potluck cash prizes!
Aak'w Rock Festival
A three-day Indigenous music festival, held biennially on the ancestral homelands of the Lingít (People of the Tides) of the Áakʼw Ḵwáan (People of the Little Lake). Áakʼw Ḵwáan Aaní (land) is also known as Juneau-Douglas, Alaska.
Seeds of Change & Power Center Block ParTAY!
Alaska Seeds of Change and Power Center (an Alaska Behavioral Health Program) presents the 2nd Annual Block parTAY (transition age youth) on Friday, August 18th. This free, family-friendly event will host games, food trucks, and live music by Witty Youngman. 2-5:30 PM.

Copper River Salmon Jam
Salmon Jam is an annual cultural event that benefits the residents and visitors of Cordova and helps to make our community a place where people want to live year-round. Sustainable Alaskan fisheries, salmon ecology, and the importance of salmon to local economies are shared with festival-goers through hands-on activities, booths, displays, and is at the heart of the entire event. Not only do patrons enjoy the activities and guest musicians during Salmon Festival weekend, but Salmon Jam Music Festival is the annual fundraiser for Cordova Arts Council and proceeds from Salmon Jam help support year-round cultural and education activities in Cordova.

Concert in the Quad at UAA
The Concert in the Quad summer series continues Tuesday, June 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in — you guessed it — the Cuddy Quad! Enjoy a performance from Witty Youngman and lunch from The Smokehouse BBQ and Catering food truck. A quick meal option will also be available from Pizza Hut, and Qdoba will provide FREE chips and queso. We're looking forward to seeing you again!

Don’t Stay Silent!
Vocalist Witty Youngman will be in attendance and perform her original song addressing MMIWG. Lieutenant Governor Nancy Dahlstrom as well as local leaders Kirsten Timbers and Melanie Bahnke will offer their remarks to honor the day. All members of the community are welcome to attend to show their support, make signs, and walk in recognition of those who have loved and lost, as well as for survivors, family members and friends.
Potluck – There will also be a potluck to share in our time together. Please bring a dish, and you will be entered to win $250 for each dish you bring.
Signs and Shirts – A limited number of signs and shirts will be available for decorating at the event. If you can, feel free to bring art supplies and a red shirt if you have one.
Walk Route – The walk will start at 6pm at City Hall on Front Street, up Bering Street, onto Greg Kruschek Bypass Road past the Public Safety Building, onto Alaska Gold Access Rd/East D Street behind the Recreation Center to end inside the Recreation Center for the closing ceremony.
